Nancy Louzán and Damian Esell from Buenos Aires are among the world’s finest tango dancers. With exquisite elegance, musicality and charm they share their profound understanding of the essence of tango and inspire their students to seek better connection with their partner, the music and the dance floor.
Nancy and Damian both grew up in artistically stimulating environment and discovered tango as young adults. Since they met the first time on a milonga floor, they toured around Europe, Asia, Oceania and America since 1997 giving classes, seminaries and exhibitions.
Damián and Nancy like the traditional tango as well as the modern styles. They dance improvisation and choreographies, with sublel elements and wild figures. They both are specialised in the "Salon Style" and the "Performance Style". To improve and focus on their technique they take lessons of yoga, streching, and ballet.
They have made a name for themselves by their personal dedication to the dance, which they both exhibit with a clear structured program.
They focus on rhythm, posture and improvisation, therefore, resulting in interesting step combinations.

"We put the focus in the communication of the couple, looking for the comfort and well function of the dance, technically and expressively.
We like the harmonious and dynamic movements from the most subtle to the most exciting and vertiginous. Using all the possibilities coming from the traditional way of dancing tango in addition to the new elements of the new age.
In the lessons we teach the technique and the structures which compose the tango movements. We explain in detail and justify the origin of many figures, which are combinations of the elements analyzed in the structural exercises.
We work with the different possibilities of the tango embrace in relation with the way of moving legs and body according to the situation of dancing in the social place (milonga) or on the stage."
